Why does Hantera distinguish an absent field from an explicitly cleared field?
Filtrera optional record fields distinguish a field that is absent from an update from a required field that is present with the value nothing, preventing APIs from guessing whether omission means no change or deletion.
field?: T means a field may be absent. field: T | nothing means the field is present and may be explicitly cleared. The distinction is important whenever an update must tell “leave unchanged” apart from “remove this value.”
