How does Hantera handle back-orders?
When stock cannot cover demand, the per-delivery Inventory Routing app keeps the unfulfilled residual as an explicit back-order against the primary warehouse rather than silently dropping it.
Back-orders are first-class records, not an implicit negative stock calculation. They can feed procurement, replenishment, and transfer workflows, and are promoted to reservations when stock becomes available.
