Overview
Pricing arguments are rarely about pricing. They are about not being able to say, with confidence, what a product cost at the moment someone bought it.
The Products app puts products, price lists and prices in one model and keeps the history. A price change is an event, not an overwrite — so the price on an old order, the price behind a refund and the price in a report are all answerable from the same place.
Price lists can be derived from each other, which means a market list or a customer list follows its source instead of drifting away from it over a season. And when a rule, an export or a price-history claim needs the lowest price over a window, it reads it from the same catalogue everything else does.
